This post show comparisons of shots taken after the clear-cut and during or after the blasting phase.
Let's start with an image from the north-east corner of the lot:

Behind the rock you see the massif about to be removed and currently almost completely blasted away.
This is how it looked the other day:

In this image you see that they have blasted away for the garage and partly under the basement floor. They have to blast 80 to 100 centimeters under the forthcoming basement floor, mainly for drainage but also for the isolation and the thickness of the base plate.
Here's a nice pic from November:

In the middle you see a plateau whereabout a parking space is to be created. This will be located at the level of the approach-ramp and the eastern neighbor's courtyard.
Another picture from the other day.

To the left you see something red. This is the diesel tank for the excavator. They told me that the contents would last for month of normal work.
Look at this interesting picture from last fall:

Behind the shed there's a glimpse of my brother B e n in red. In the backround you see the Witch's cottage completely closed with boards covering the windows. In the center, you see the former pavilion in disrepair at the cliff top, now a memory only.
Here's the corresponding view from yesterday:

This picture was shot from almost the same spot. You see H working with the altimeter (in the foreground) spraying altitude lines for the blasting team. To the left you might notice that they have blasted and excavated for the north-east corner of the basement.
