The Garage

There is a frantic activity right now. Carpenters, plumbers and electricians move around the house and line up to use the ladders etc. Now, wiring and piping is not that fancy to show, so instead, I'll give you pics from the garage.

Here's the garage port and its final color. This color will return on the front door. The garage port has no key but a keypad and unexpectedly, a remote control.

The garage height is 3.80 m (12.5 ft). It is not possible to mount the garage port on that level, so the carpenters have constructed a loft in the front part of the garage, not the least for the suspension of the garage port. Please excuse me for a blurry picture. My mobile can't handle a mix of dark and light objects properly, despite being a Sony Ericsson.

Another picture of the loft: I consider having an overhead crane constructed, to assist us lifting heavy objects to the loft.

Here the carpenters prepare an opening in the terrace to let light in to the teenagers' room in the basement. The opening will be covered by a thick glass that you can stand on.

Today the offical moving in date was set to November 20, 85 days away.
