A Good Day in August

This was a day when a lot happened. Look here:

Here, L a s s e  M is working next to the new carport. Notice that the beams are sawed in such a way that they slant towards left to support the rain water to flow off. On top of them the garage roof is constructed, consisting of roofing-felt and a rubber layer. On top of that, other beams are fixed that are sawed the other way, leaving a horizontal foundation for the wooden terrace.

Here, the forthcoming terrace is seen from northwest. You can't see that it is slanting outwards, but it is. In the foreground you see the "outdoor room", that is the room under the terrace west of the house and outside the kitchen.

Here are some moulds under the forthcoming west terrace.

This pciture was taken under the terrace between the house and the garage, wher you see the new carport from anohter direction (compared to the first picture in this post).

This picture was shot later that day and shows some complete plinths with reinformcement bars. Nice job!

Finally a picture from the ground floor. This is the result of three days of wiring. The house may end up with quite a few hidden cables.
