The First System of Beams

Report from April 1:

Today the ground floor's system of beams was completed:

Here is the ground floor's system of beams shot from the west.

The carpenters now work with the ground floor's lower layer floor. (There will be two floor layers with floor heating pipes in between.) To the right you see a glimpse of the witch's decayed summer cottage.

This picture was shot from a perspective similar to the ones expected from the upper floor's eastern rooms.

This picture reveals the size of the scaffold. It looks good with Thursday's raising of walls at hand.
