The Upper Floor's Walls

Reported on April 9:

During Wednesday, the team toiled at placing the walls on the spot:

Here the upper floor's north façade wall is placed at its final destination and struts are mounted to steady the wall.

Here the upper floors western wall arrives. You probably notice the assymetrical suspension and two carpenters need to hang on it in order to properly fit it into its incision.

The weather was dull this day. Northerly winds and sometimes rain mixed with snow gave the team a long shift. The team also managed to lift (with the assistance of the crane) the newly purchased safe into the upper floor before closing the walls. Hence, the safe becomes the house's first furniture.

This is how it looked late afternoon from northwest and here's a shot down from the street with a certain distance:

From this view, the house looks quite large. However, we're convinced that once painted, the house will harmonize with the surrounding forest.
