Things happen fast now:

Today, the foundation was cast. I arrived at 8.30am with the ambition to document the distribution of the running concrete, but the distribution of the concrete had already completed at that time. Anyhow, this is the truck that distributed the concrete:

According to the team onsite, 13 cubic meters of concrete were used (that is, 13000 litres and three truck loads). As far as I know it is possible to cast down to -5 ° C, 23 °F but the concrete hardens a lot slower at those temperetures. If being colder, the craftsmen have to raise a tent and to install heating within it. No problems today. We had +4 °C, 39 °F. We've been very lucky with respect to the weather so far.
Now time for a hardening picture:

If you watch closely, you may see that it is steams on the surface. This is due to the hardening concrete emitting gases during its reaction. Possibly my brother having a masters in Civil Engineering can comment on this.
And now to something completely different. I can resist doing a complete lapse from the construction documentation and can't withhold you from this cool pic. My employer has opened an office on 37, Wall St.:

This is a picture eastwards. Hence Broadway and the New York Stock Exchange (located on Broad St.) behind the photographer, my nice colleague J e s s i c a. Far away you see a glimpse of Brooklyn and far down you see Wall St.
J, this quite close to your former office, isn't it?
